WHAT: The Biennial Conference on University Education in Natural Resources (BCUENR) is a broad, interdisciplinary opportunity to share and learn from colleagues at a variety of educational institutions with a common background in natural resources. #BCUENR22
WHO: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is excited to invite you to join us! Our hosts are UNL’s School of Natural Resources and College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Your contact for information: Larkin Powell (lpowell3@unl.edu).
WHEN: Please save March 23-24, 2022 for the 14th BCUENR—a two-day, virtual conference experience.
WHY: Our theme is Inclusive Natural Resources Education. Our goal is to provide networking opportunities as well as information, tips, and ideas that you can easily incorporate into learning experiences for your students. The virtual platform of this conference is intended to strategically address complexities of planning in the current environment, but proactively provide an opportunity for educators across the globe to participate. We anticipate a minimal registration fee, and our steering committee is developing a brilliant set of experiences for you—including some unique ways to experience migration of sandhill cranes through Nebraska during the conference!
HOW: We anticipate registration to be open in mid-December with abstract submissions for your contributions in mid-January. If you would like to stay on our mailing list for future updates, please visit our website (https://snr.unl.edu/bcuenr/ )and click on the link at the bottom to provide your contact information. We look forward to engaging with you in March 2022!
